In the recently held Elite Academy Basketball League (EABL) Final at the Leicester Arena, Cheshire Wire old boys Joe Cummins (CWBC 2015)(Barking Abbey) and Joe Bielak (CWBC 2016)(Charnwood) found themselves in direct opposition. After finishing the regular season 14 – 0, Barking Abbey were able to continue their dominance in the postseason by winning the final 82 – 65 and completing a perfect season (17 – 0).
