Preparations and planning for the upcoming 23rd International Basketball Festival in Lloret de Mar, Spain 
are reaching their climax as over 80 players, coaches and parents from Cheshire Wire get ready for the Easter weekend event (24th to 28th March). With only three weeks to go, flights and hotels have already been booked but there is still much to be done before everyone jets off to the north east coast of Spain.
But it wont be all fun in the sun for those taking part, as the teams will be working hard as they train, play and support each other during the five day tournament. And there will also be the added pressure as the teams attempt to defend the titles that they won in all three age groups (U15, U14 and U13) at the same event twelve months ago. Let’s hope that they are able to repeat their outstanding achievement of 2015 at this year’s tournament. Good luck to all of those taking part from everyone at Cheshire Wire!
