Cheshire Wire players and their familes achieved an outstanding result at a bag packing event at their local store, today.
As part of the upcoming trip to Lloret de Mar, Spain, at Easter, to compete in an international basketball tournament as defending champions in all three age groups, Cheshire Wire players (aged 15 and under) and their families took part in a bag packing event at their local Morrison’s store in Stockton Heath, Warrington in order to raise funds; with an outstanding result. Everyone who took part can be extremely proud of themselves as in only 5 hours they managed to raise a massive £775.01 towards the cost of the tour.
Congratulations to everyone who took part and a big thank you to all of those customers who contributed so generously to this total in both money and kind words. It is truly appreciated. A big thank you must also go out to Morrison’s and its employees for allowing the club to participate in this event.
