After four months of development, the British Basketball Federation through its collaboration with the Home Nations and many other stakeholders has published its strategy and vision document ‘Transforming Basketball in Britain together 2016-2028’ outlining the way forward for the sport of basketball in Great Britain.
The strategy is an articulation of the ambition and future direction of the sport. The implementation of this strategy will rely heavily on the Home Nations (England, Scotland and Wales) working with their members, clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers and other key organisations to consider the best ways to stimulate growth and better practice and by working together attract more resources to support the sport.
There will be regular updates on progress and the new ways of engaging those in the sport to help shape the future of basketball.
