Cheshire Wire U16s have set up an eagerly anticipated semi-final clash against South Premier Champions, Newham Youngbloods Crusaders.

After a tough encounter against a resillient Brentwood Fire in the Playoff quarter-finals last Saturday, Cheshire Wire U16 Premiers (17 – 1) have set up a mouth watering encounter against Newham Youngbloods Crusaders (20 – 2) in the semi-finals of the Premier League Playoffs. A day after Wire won their match against the Fire, Newham, this seasons South Premier Champions, were able to comfortably beat Leeds Force Elite 91 – 68 to set up the tie against Wire. The match is to be played at the recently opened National Basketball Performance Centre located in Belle Vue, Manchester on Saturday 30th April with a tip-off time of 1000.

In the other semi-final, Manchester Magic will play Peckham Pride.
